Distinguish unopened and opened guidance

Pampers states on its Aqua Pure page that the wipes do not expire and recommends use within 30 days after opening to prevent drying. That statement is specific to that product page; it is not a universal deadline for every wipe brand.

Keep the closure secure

Follow the pack’s storage and closure instructions. A date note helps track an opened packet, but it cannot prove that a packet is uncontaminated or usable after damage. Do not rely on appearance alone to overrule a warning.

Do not repair an uncertain pack

If a packet arrives damaged, has unexpected changes or raises a product concern, stop using it and contact the manufacturer or appropriate healthcare professional. We do not provide rewetting recipes or advise adding preservatives.

Before you decide

  • Read exact storage directions
  • Note opening date
  • Do not invent a universal expiry
